Diamondsides Baseball / New West Minor Baseball Association is a volunteer run
non-profit baseball organization devoted to providing young athletes 12+ living in New Westminster and surrounding areas the opportunity to play grassroots & competitive baseball after Little League.
We are affiliated with BC Minor Baseball, Baseball BC, Baseball Canada and VisSport.
We stress commitment, teamwork, fair play, kindness & respect from our players, coaches, parents & fans. To offer the best & safest baseball experience to our players it requires financial assistance to operate and maintain our equipment & fields. Approximately 30% of our operational costs will be covered by player registration fees and small fundraisers.We are a parent & volunteer run league and rely on your support and input to make the most out of your player’s experience.
2022 was our inaugural year in which we ran a Spring & Summer 18UAA/Midget Division and expanded in 2023 offering both 18U and 15U divisions and plan to grow again for 2024 offering: 26U/Junior Men’s (dependent on reg. numbers), 18U/Midget, 15U/Bantam, & 13U/Peewee Divisions.
We are proud to call the iconic Queens Park stadium our home diamond for 26U & 18U Divisions. It has stadium lighting for night games & covered seating for hundreds of fans.
15U Division plays on Queens Park Diamond #2 & Ron McLean Park in spring & summer and moves to alternate fields in the fall. 13U is currently being run out of Bonsor Park.
The New West Minor Baseball Association acknowledges that it is located on an unceded land, eternally cared for by Halkomelem speaking people and represented today by the Qayqayt First Nation.
